Anything else you’d like to tell us?: Shadow Road Studio is a small, intimate and flexible performance and rehearsal space in Barnes, South West London, run by independent theatre company Shadow Road Productions.

We believe that powerful theatre need not depend on a conventional stage, large budget or elaborate production. Our Studio is particularly suited to small-cast, actor-led productions, new writing, rehearsed readings, workshops and other creative events that benefit from a close relationship between performers and audience.

The space can be arranged to suit different types of performance, rehearsals, or creative activity, with end-on and thrust configurations as well as a central-table arrangement for readings and workshops.

We welcome enquiries from independent theatre-makers and other creative practitioners interested in hiring the Studio. As the space is compact, with a low ceiling, we encourage prospective users to discuss their requirements with us in advance to make certain that it is suitable for their needs.
