The Camden People’s Theatre is moving away from its previous box office split model and introducing a new model of guaranteed payments for artists – a long-term ambition to reduce financial precarity for theatre makers. It’s a significant move that CPT hopes will rebalance the risks of fringe theatre for artists, giving them the time and security to focus on their work.
